Are There as Many Swingers as There are "Normal" People?

Are There as Many Swingers as There are "Normal" People?

…I’m starting to think that maybe there is!!! I can’t believe how many people are we’ve come across since starting this lifestyle, that are also into it!!! Lots of “normal” people!

I started a new job and found 2 swingers in the first week, then another 2 within the next 2 weeks (and my area isn’t that large!) Friday night we had my daughters friend’s parents over for dinner – swingers! They’re everywhere! And I seem to have a knack for finding them, lol!

Is is possible that we have a swinger-dar? I mean they talk about gay people having a “Gay-dar”… There is some things in particular that gives me that intuitive “I think they swing” feeling though… it’s like the people who are into it have some particular qualities or tell-tale traits… and this is no means statistically validated, just my personal opinion through a number of “I was right” scenarios:

1. They are very open minded which they will in some way let you know. The statement “I don’t shock easily” or something similar has so far been a dead giveaway when coupled with one or more of the following…

2. Innuendo flies easily and effortlessly and it has an edge to it, in that they can be quite cheeky. They also have that look of “I’m just throwing this out to test your reaction…” Always on the look out to either get a good one (something I tend to do) or be fishing to see if they respond in a way that lets you know that they are into it too!

3. Easy going! Nothing phases them and they are quite comfortable being friendly from the get go, like you’ve known each other for years!

4. Playful! I mean, most of the people we’ve met are… it’s part of the fun so you find a lot of people who are young spirited, probably unconventional and somewhat rebellious are into swinging in some way, shape or form.

Now this sounds like a lot of people we know, and not all of them are swingers. Newsflash: swingers are normal people! I know that might be a bit shocking since there are people out there that think swingers are into all sorts of debauchery (and some are admittedly), but most of the swingers we know are “normal” people. They have families, they are in professional careers, they aren’t all walking around in sexy lingerie having sex parties every night… (although that does sound appealing!) So your neighbour, your parents, your kids (if they’re old enough), your kids teachers, your local law enforcement officers could all be swingers!

Now here’s something interesting, for something that is supposed to be “taboo”, it seems that there are a large % of people who indulge in the extra spice and play-friends. It’s almost like we all agree that it’s “taboo” but do it anyway. Maybe it’s somewhat enticing because it is slightly on the naughty side… nah, even if it was considered “normal” I’d still do it anyway :o)

If you want to know more about swinging, or what it takes to join the swinging revolution (like the rest of the masses who aren’t sharing their secret), check out my book The Essential Guide for Adventurous Couples, you’ll get all your answers and then some, and if nothing else, you’ll be well entertained and educated! Until then…

Here’s to your sexual evolution!

Yes, swingers are every day people. Not sure why there seems to be a negative stigma towards swingers when in fact – most everyone is doing it (whether they admit it or not). My husband and I recently started going to a swingers club in our area and I was happy to find such normal, professional people. We’ve also started traveling with a company who books cruises for swingers. It’s funny because the other passengers on the ship would never know we’re one big group of swingers. What we do in the privacy of our own cabin is our own business. We’re signed up again for a cruise over 4th of July weekend on Anyone else signed up – contact me so we can chat.

There are so many ways to meet swingers now, I hope to meet a few of you in my travels too :o)

Many around us have thought about it for once at least but the fact of the matter is it’s still a taboo in our society and the open mindedness to share your partner with others is rare. But it is undeniable that swinging has been around for quite a while now and number of swingers are growing. Just remember there is no room for jealousy among swingers.

While trying to come up with info on how to get your ex back I came across this interesting topic. So many interesting, yet insightful stuff was mentioned in this article that I am doing some list building based on what was mentioned. Even though I am not a big fan of “swinging”, I thought the content was quite entertaining.

Well to be honest I have never participated in such activities. But to answer the big question “are there as many swingers as normal people” I very much doubt that. However I would imagine most normal people have fantasized about it. 😉

The swinger lifestyle isn’t very different from any other people’s lifestyle. Swingers go to work, have a family, go out and do all the things considered “normal”, but from time to time they engage in sexual relationships other than their regular one, meaning they have sex with other persons than the one they are committed to. For this little fact they are considered abnormal

Most swingers are very healthy people and take good care of their bodies. Around 80% of the swingers are non-smokers. They also take precautions to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.

But in all probability, probably not. In a free and non-judgmental world I think people would be swinger from the rafters everywhere!

Not too many people would actually think about this the way you just did. I’m really impressed that there’s so much about this subject that’s been uncovered and you did it so well, with so much class.

We want to organize private parties at home and swingers looking for a way to distinguish ourselves from others. What you are looking for a swingers party? What kind of characteristics are important .. or hot tub, pool, food, no single men, etc.

Swingers are a different lifestyle for sure. But this can’t be stressed enough…”We all like different things” So the few couples that you have met are swingers. More a coincidence than anything. But in the liberal world we live in now, I think more couples are admitting to it, than a growth in the population of swingers. I know a few, but I know a lot more who do not, or at least do not admit that they do.

For many people across the globe, being a swinger is actually a fascinating stuff . But most of these people do not actually care about their elderly life and what’s going to happen to them because of their present activity . From, what I’ve heard people who get involved in unsafe sex are in high risk of getting elderly alert from time to time . Whether that’d be a normal physical attack or a sexual disease . But, I’m quite not sure about the numbers of swingers matching up with the numbers of “normal” people across the globe.

You might be right, in a more open society we might all be hanging from rafters and doing it whenever the thought strikes us, like monkeys. But, more than likely we will just keep hiding that part of ourselves behind closed doors.

The beauty of these blogging engines and CMS platforms is the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that allows developers to implement rich content and skin the site in such a way that with very little effort one would never notice what it is making the site tick all without limiting content and effectiveness.

I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.

Human sexuality is how people experience the erotic and express themselves as sexual beings. Frequently driven by the desire for sexual pleasure, human sexuality has biological, physical, and emotional aspects. Biologically, it refers to the reproductive mechanism as well as the basic biological drive that exists in all species and can encompass sexual intercourse and sexual contact in all its forms.

The key of this success marriage is not swinging itself, but
She Agrees to Share her sex activities with her husband.

Maybe her “cheating” or “do it without husband” is the critical factor for her to do all these.
If she intended to share her secret sex or love affairs with her husband, then there shall be no “affairs” from the beginning at all.

Or, maybe there’s some more stories about this couple’s discussions/negotiations that she finally was willing to share.
How did the husband convince the wife to share it openly?
Once she can openly share her sex, then swinging easily became the solution.
